In 2017, I came back to Vietnam with a suitcase full of memories… and a fire in my heart.

I didn’t have a million dollars.

I didn’t have a business plan.

But I had one simple idea:

“What if there was a place where strangers could walk in, and walk out as friends?”

So I opened Language Exchange Coffee House – a tiny café where you could sip a drink, meet a traveler, teach a word, and learn a culture.

It wasn’t fancy. But it was alive.

And people came.

And then… they didn’t want to leave.

So I gave them a place to sleep.

That’s how Language Exchange Hostel 1 was born.

Then Hostel 2.

Then Language Exchange Hotel 3 – each room with a theme, a story, a secret waiting to be discovered. Titanic. Hello Kitty. Jungle. Chinese Palace. Dreams you could book by the night.

And because I couldn’t stop there – I opened Language Exchange English Academy. Because language isn’t just for tourists. It’s for the kids in our neighborhood. The dreamers. The quiet ones. The rebels. The future.

That hotels should be playgrounds for culture.

That learning a new word can change your world.

That people don’t travel to escape life – they travel to feel alive.
